She holds a master\u2019s degree in clinical social work. Ms. Sturdivant has worked as a social worker for over 20 years in various settings.\u00a0 Ms. Sturdivant is also the mother of a 12-year-old son who is on the Autism spectrum. After facing challenges finding appropriate providers to meet the needs of her family, she founded Living Autism Out Loud (LAOL).\u00a0 LAOL strives to eliminate barriers that BIPOC parents may face when accessing services for their children with autism and\/or intellectual developmental disabilities.
